This Privacy Policy applies to information collected on On Deck Baseball Academy authored websites, including, but not limited to, membership.ondeck.academy and other affiliated sites and apps such as OnForm, Inc as well as our official pages on Facebook, YouTube, Instagram, and other social media (“Website” or collectively, “Sites”), as well as information received from providing “Services” such as player registration data, clinics and events, email subscriptions, sales, and marketing.


The purpose of this privacy notice is to explain to you in the clearest way possible what information we collect, how we use it, and what rights you have in relation to it. If there are any terms in this privacy notice that you do not agree with, please discontinue service immediately.

1. Minors

If you are under the age of 16, you may use our website and services only with the permission and active involvement of a parent or legal guardian. We cannot collect or use your information without their approval. If you are a minor under 13, please do not provide us or other website visitors with any personal information and do not use this website without parental consent. If we learn we have collected or received personal information from a child under 13 without verification of parental consent, we will delete that information. In Short: We collect personal information that you provide to us.

When you enroll as a student, athlete, or subscriber (“learner”) on our sites or related services, courses and apps; as part of the enrolling process, we collect the personal information you give us such as your name, email address, and phone number.

Personal Information Provided By You. We collect names; phone numbers; email addresses; player data; and other similar information.

Social Media Login Data. The On Deck Baseball Academy LLC Membership Site utilizes Thinkific as its membership platform and OnForm for coaching and video services. These Sites may provide you with the option to register with us using your existing social media account details, like your Facebook, Google, or other social media account. If you choose to register in this way, Thinkific may collect that information as described in Thinkific’s Privacy Policy (https://www.thinkific.com/privacy-policy/and Terms of Service (https://www.thinkific.com/terms-of-service/). OnForm may collect that information as described in OnForm’s privacy policy as described here: https://www.getonform.com/privacy.

3. How do we use your information? 

In short: We process your information for purposes based on legitimate business interests, the fulfillment of your contract with you, compliance with our legal obligations and/or your consent.

To facilitate account creation and logon process. If you choose to link your account with us to a third-party account (such as your Google or Facebook account), we use the information you allowed us to collect from those third parties to facilitate account creation and logon processes through Thinkific and OnForm to facilitate performance of the contract. 

OnForm Application Login Data. If you choose to become a member with On Deck Baseball Academy LLC and receive personal coaching services, these services utilize the OnForm application. Your coach will use your name and contact information to invite you to the platform, at which time you will need to accept the invitation and create a player account. This is where your messages and videos are submitted and reviewed by your coach. OnForm ensures video sharing is always private and secure, but before you choose to join our membership, please be sure to review and agree to OnForm’s Privacy Policy. Email marketing. We may send you emails about our site and related course(s), registration, course content, your course progress or other updates. We may also use your email to inform you about changes to the course, survey you about your usage, or collect your opinion.

To post testimonials and demonstrations. We post testimonials and demonstrations on our Website that may contain personal information. Prior to posting a testimonial or demonstration, we will obtain your consent to use your name and the content of the testimonial or demonstration. If you wish to update, or delete, your testimonial or demonstration, please contact us at [email protected] and be sure to include your name, testimonial or demonstration location, and contact information. 

Request feedback. We may use your information to request feedback and to contact you about the use of our Sites and Services. 

To enable user-to-user communications. We may use your information in order to enable user-to-user communications with each user’s consent.

Our membership site, programs, and courses are hosted by Thinkific Labs Inc. (“Thinkific”). They provide us with the online course creation platform that allows us to sell our product/services to you.

7. Payment

If you make a purchase on our site, we use a third party payment processor: Stripe. Payments are encrypted through the Payment Card Industry Data Security Standard (PCI-DSS). Your purchase transaction data is stored only as long as is necessary to complete your purchase transaction.

All direct payment gateways adhere to the standards set by PCI-DSS as managed by the PCI Security Standards Council, which is a joint effort of brands like Visa, MasterCard, American Express and Discover.

To protect your personal information, we take reasonable precautions and follow industry best practices to make sure it is not inappropriately lost, misused, accessed, disclosed, altered or destroyed.

If you provide us with your credit card information, the information is encrypted using secure socket layer technology (SSL) and stored with a AES-256 encryption.  Although no method of transmission over the Internet or electronic storage is 100% secure, we follow all PCI-DSS requirements and implement additional generally accepted industry standards.
